When taking the sports shelter out and laying it on the ground to put up, you want to make sure the sports shelter is oriented up. The way you know the sports shelter is oriented up is by looking at the front connector. The front connector is angled upward with the webbing end pointed up as well.

There are other ways to tell if you have the sports shelter oriented in the right direction, but this is the easiest and fastest way to tell.
